I FEEL FOR YOU ALL

When I see others going through a difficult time, My heart has compassion for them and all my problems seem so small. That compassion comes from my Daddy, Abba! To everyone who's down and out, know that my heart feels for you and God's too. Abba loves us so much and is always right with us going through the same difficulties<3 Look up and rejoice in the Lord for he brings happiness to the sad and comforts us through all of our circumstances.

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER

How well does your actions back up what you say? Whatever you're saying should have actions to back it up. Matthew 9:5-6

WALK THE WALK

Talking the talk does not mean you're walking the walk. God's more concerned about what you're doing than what you're saying. Matthew 7:21 Your actions should line up with your words <3

I'M A SUCKER

Today, I realized that I'm a sucker! I've sucked the life out of others. I ask for your forgiveness and no longer will use you. To those who've sucked the life out of me,I love you but I'm setting boundaries in our relationships so that I can remain in Christ's love in order to give to others who are in need and really want help. Father, forgive me for using others, help me and use me to be a giver and not a taker from others.
Walking without God gets you nowhere!

IDENTITY

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27 (NIV) If we are created in God’s own image, then why do we take on false identities? A suggestion could be the environments we were raised in are all that we know and can identify with. I would say that as a believer, once we have chosen to follow Christ whole-heartedly, our spiritual identity becomes new. 2Corinthians 5:17 (NIV) We have to learn to walk in our new identities. Whatever identity you identify with that is not of God and does not line up with his word, is a false identity. The devil loves this. Naturally we are born into sin. I don’t want to give my own opinion because I am not here to cause a debate. I am truly giving God’s view on this. He is an awesome God and loves all of his children. If you know someone who lives in a false identity, know that you yourself cannot change them but God can. You may be in their lives to plant seeds. God has appointed people to water seeds and reap the harvest of those planted seeds.
I sense God saying: He wants his beloved children to walk in His image. Put off the old and put on the new. We have to learn who we are in Christ. If you don’t know, I suggest you ask someone you trust who is a firm believer and follower of Christ. You’ll know this by the fruits they produce in their lives. We are sons, joint heirs. The Kingdom is within us all. We are royalty! Get this down on the inside of your hearts and walk in your new image and shine for all to see!

IN HIS ARMS

Just when you think you can’t go another day, God is right there to pick you up. There are times when we feel like we are so weak in a tiring situation, that we feel we cannot make it. Rest assured that those who place their hope in God will have their strength renewed. Isaiah 40:31 (NIV) God will not let you stand alone in any situation, whether it is death of a loved one, financial crisis, homelessness, addictions, and many other hardships. God promises to lift us out of these pits. He will give you a firm place to stand and create a new beginning for you. Psalm 40:2 (NIV) He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.
God is saying: Stand through all of your trials. I AM will walk through them with you. There are lessons to be learned through every trial. Will you humble yourselves and allow me to teach you? You don’t want to miss the lessons or experiences. Starting all over can be difficult. I AM here to help you so you don’t have to go through all the unnecessary pain of sin that others choose. I love all of my children and want them to reside in Heaven with their Heavenly Father. Rest in my arms my children. Here your strength will be renewed and I will release you to a renewed attitude to continue to stand.

CHRISTIAN BEHAVIOR

If Christ is in you and you are in Christ, you are a new person spiritually and you must learn what that means and act accordingly. Some of us aren't and no wonder why some don't want to believe! Put on Christ and take off the devil! How can someone trust what you're saying if you're not living it? Let's stop putting expectations on others that they'll never be able to meet and love them regardless! #nomorebadrapforchristians

FRUSTRATED FIXER

I release everyone I know of from being God in my life. Forgive me for expecting you to fulfill me in a way that only God can. I will no longer damage our relationship. God,I give you your job back because I'm not good at it and you get way better results than I ever could. I'm keeping people in my life secondary and you primary. I am no longer a frustrated fixer because I wasn't meant to be nor the people in my life.

TRUST GOD

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)

I’ve been learning to trust God in every area of my life. I have an issue with trying to figure out all the details of things He’s doing in my life. I get so overwhelmed and frustrated trying to figure things out or make them work in my own way. God wants us to trust Him fully in every area of our lives, not just some. It can be hard to do this when you’re so accustomed to figuring things out in your own way. We have to learn a new way of thinking and trusting. It’s not always easy but if we put forth the effort, God is faithful and will guide us to where we need to be.

Father, I thank you for your faithfulness. I thank you for loving us all so much that you want us to prosper. I thank you for blessing us and for the great fruits produced in our lives when we walk according to your will. Let us, put off our old ways of thinking and put on your way of thinking. Help us to remain in you as you remain in us. I love you Lord, in Jesus name, Amen.

REST

I sense God wants us all to come to Him and rest in Him. We are carrying burdens that He never meant for us to carry.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30 (NIV) We can get burdened down by our daily lives and the stresses which come with it. I want you all to know that it doesn’t have to be that way. God is the one responsible to carry our burdens. That is why Jesus spoke those words in the scripture above. If you feel like you’re so weighed down and cannot handle it anymore, the best thing to do is to get on your knees and cry out to God. He hears us and cares about everything concerning us. Yes, I said EVERYTHING! Our tears are so precious to Him. He wants nothing more than to comfort us and love us unconditionally. Whatever it is, give it up to God and He will give you much needed rest. Once you’re well rested, you’ll be light as a feather and will be able to carry on with you walk in Christ with a clear heart and mind. Your strength will be renewed.

Our God is able, stronger, wiser, and bigger than anything you can imagine. If He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can ever ask or imagine, then don’t you think He can take on your burdens and free you of the heavy weight life drops on you? I believe and know He can.

Father I thank you for being our burden bearer. Thank you for outstretched comforting arms where we may rest. May we seek you and find you while you are near. Let us lay down all of our burdens at the feet of Jesus and take upon his yoke. Our concerns are yours to handle and we gladly give them all to you In Jesus Name, Amen.

GIVE IT TO GOD

If you're overwhelmed and don't know what to do, give whatever it is over to God and He'll take over from there. Trust Him. He has your best interest at heart <3

FAITH

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1 (NIV) When we place our faith in God, we are confident in what we trusted him for and sure of it because it has not manifested yet in our lives. We have to live as if it were already there. That is true faith! All you need is a small amount of faith and it can move mountains. Matthew 17:20 (NIV)
I am sure we all have had to make major decisions in our lives. There are times when we don’t know what to do. Great pressure is placed on us all to live according to God’s will and be an outstanding Christian. If you don’t know all the details, trust that God does and that He will work those details out. All you have to do is believe that you are making the right decision and God will take care of the rest. If you make a mistake, He will still honor you and make your path straight because He knows your heart. Proverbs 3:6 (NIV)
There are many examples in the bible of known characters that placed their faith in God and He came through for them. By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the army had marched around them for seven days. Hebrews 11:30(NIV) Joshua [succeeded Moses] was the one who led the army on that march that tore down the walls of Jericho. He thought it strange that God would instruct him to march around the walls for seven days. He placed his faith in God, simply obeyed and the walls tumbled down as God said they would. By faith Noah, when warned about the things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith. Hebrews 11:7 (NIV) God told Noah that He was going to bring a flood and wipe the people off the face of the earth because they were wicked and had evil in their hearts all the time. Genesis 6:7 (NIV) God instructed Noah on how to build an ark in Genesis 6:14-16. Noah didn’t know when the flood was coming. Matter of fact it didn’t come until about 100 years later. The flood came as God said it would and Noah and his family were saved while all others were killed along with the animals and plant life. You see Noah didn’t see the storm but he built the ark like he was told because he had trusted that God would do what He said He would do.
Faith is dead if there is no action behind it. As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds [works] is dead. James 2:26 (NIV) In the two examples above, those two men put faith with their actions, and God moved in a mighty way. Those examples are there for us to follow. When God tells you to do something that you don’t understand, just do it and know that He’s right there with you every step of the way. The best blessings come from simply obeying God. Peace and blessings to you all in Christ.

Waiting Room Series (Elevation Church)

I want to share part of tonight’s Waiting Room Series sermon at Elevation Church by Pastor Steven Furtick. The two scriptures for this sermon are Habakkuk 2:2-3 and 2Peter 3:8-9
We’ve all been in a waiting room of some type such as, the doctor’s office, dmv, or even in your car during slow traffic. Most of our lives are spent waiting on something or someone. This series gives us insight on how to actively wait on God with the right approach and mind frame. Here are 3 key points from tonight’s sermon:
1. Often you have to go through something to get to the place in your heart where God wants you. God may take you in a totally different direction that seems to be the opposite of where you thought you should go. When God does this, He’s preparing your heart for the place He’s taking you. Do not lose heart because sometimes we have to take a detour in order to arrive at the same place we were going to begin with. Just because there is a direct route to a destination, doesn’t mean it’s going to be the route you take to get there. Let God prepare you for whatever it is you’re about to receive.
2. God doesn’t put you in a holding pattern to punish you but to protect you. God places us in a holding pattern (holding position until you’re ready to be released) until He works out all the things in our hearts that shouldn’t be there. God is intentional in His delays. His delays are not His denials. If you’re in a holding pattern, don’t be discouraged because God is doing a great work in you until you’re ready for what or where He brings you to.
3. Trusting God means crossing over the supernatural dateline. When you come to God, you cross the supernatural dateline. The Supernatural Dateline is God’s time zone in heaven, not our time zone here on earth. God is not slow in keeping His promise, but very patient with you. 2Peter 3:9 (NIV).
I sense God wants us all actively waiting on Him. He wants us to put our God-given talents and gifts to work to bring about good in this world. We are to love and serve each other. It is time to turn on the light in that dark waiting room and get to work.

KINGDOM WORK

What are you waiting for? Go out into all the nations and make disciples!!!
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Matthew 28:19 (NIV)
There are many lost souls out there waiting for you to come and share God's love and the "good news" with them. This is the great commission! Focus on the eternal thing above and not material things that will soon pass away. Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Colossians 3:1 (NIV) Kingdom work lasts eternally not work for personal gain. Be spirit led and do things that last eternally! Let's be about our Father's business!
Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:37-38 (NIV). We are called to reap the harvest. Now get up and go!

DWELLING PLACE

Where is our final dwelling place? Well, it’s heaven where God intendeds for us to spend eternity but (there’s always but) we have to choose to go there. God has set before us life and death.  This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live. Deuteronomy 30:19 (NIV) Which will you choose? Keep in mind that if your choice is not heaven, the only other eternal dwelling place is hell. I mention this so you will know that both places are very real and we are the ones who choose where we will go. We are seated in heavenly places with Jesus. Ephesians 2:6 (NIV) He has prepared a place for us in heaven so that he may return and take us back with him so we can be where he is. John 14:2-4 (NIV)
How does one choose heaven? You must be born again spiritually. Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”  “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.  Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’  The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” John 3:3-8 (NIV) No person can get to heaven where God dwells forever any other way but through Jesus.  John 14:6 (NIV) There is only one way to heaven, and it’s Jesus!
Heaven is a beautiful place where there is no sorrow, pain, sickness and disease, loneliness, poverty, or dying. John the Baptist describes heaven in Revelations 21 and 22:1-11 (NIV). Grab your bible and read about the beauty of heaven. Who wouldn’t want to dwell in heaven forever? Only a fool!

GRATEFULLNESS

Grateful (adjective) feeling or showing an appreciation of kindness; thankful

Psalm 100:1-5 (NIV) A psalm For giving praise.

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Do you intentionally give God thanks for all He has done in your life? Why is it that we go about our lives as if we’re the ones who created everything we possess? We are not our own source. God owns the world and everything in it. Yes, that means you too! Who is our source? God! We can do nothing without God. He’s the one who breathes the breath of life into our nostrils daily. I’m grateful for everything God has done for me. I express gratitude for the good and bad. I wouldn’t be where I am today if God didn’t get me here. God has taught me many valuable lessons that I’d be clueless of if He had not allowed me to walk into those situations. God loves us more than we care to acknowledge and He wants what’s best for us. He cannot guide us along His chosen paths for our lives if we don’t allow Him. God is gentle and will never force us to do anything. It’s all about making a choice. Do you choose to give Him thanks? How grateful are you toward God?

Luke 17:12-19 (NIV) As he [Jesus] was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!” When he saw them, he said, “Go show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed. One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then he said, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”

Only one man was so grateful to God for his immediate healing, that he returned to give him praise and thanked Jesus. What awesome gratitude this man had. This biblical example is a model of how we ought to express our gratefulness toward God. Do you agree? Take time to acknowledge what God has done, is doing, and will do in your life. Give him praise and thanks for being such a loving awesome God who still loves us even we make mistakes. Be Grateful!!

Do You Accept Jesus?

Many are familiar with the scripture John 3:16 For God so Loved the world that He Gave His one and only son, that whoever Believes in Him, shall not perish but Have eternal Life. I remember this all too well. I sense God wants me to share this because if you read the scripture again closely you'll see that, HE LOVES HE GAVE WE BELIEVE WE LIVE God loves us, that is why He gave His son, so that if we believe in His son, we'll have eternal life. What a glorious revelation! God didn't give Jesus for us to reject Him but to accept Him. Do you accept Jesus or do you reject Him? If you're walking in sin, then that's a definite rejection. Let us search our hearts and get to the truth of the matter. If we accept Jesus, it will show throughout our lives daily.
